In 1973, County Pontiac was started by Bob Lallier on County Street in Attleboro, about three miles from our present location on Newport Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He started as a small repair shop with only himself as a mechanic. Over the next several years the business grew adding used car sales and a body repair shop.

In 1989, the business was successfully moved to its present location. Over the next few years the business continued to grow, including car rentals.

In 1993, Bob continued to expand his business by purchasing a Pontiac franchise from the former Steingold Pontiac. Which was added to the location on Newport Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The building was completely renovated into a state of the art dealership to meet the ever growing expectations and satisfaction of our customers.

Today, our dealership is equipped with new and used car sales and a complete service, parts, and body shop, as well as, a rental department. We are still a family business committed to the satisfaction of our customers and treat everyone as if they were our only customer.
